THE FIRST SENTENCE
»Der erste Satz« (The first sentence) – this was quite an ambitious topic to deal with for the seven of us. Quite often the impression of the first sentence decides whether we are fascinated by a book or not.
The main focus wasn’t on creating easy-reading texts. But rather the aim to create calligraphic images. Due to an interesting impression the viewer should be animated to decrypt the text content. However – that is one of the big opportunities for modern calligraphy in general.
